We’re so excited you’ve decided to join other adventurous women at the VOW Fall Camp!
Registration Information VOW Camp registration is on a first-come-first-served basis. Participants must be at least 18 years of age. You do not need previous outdoor experience to attend. Each class is designed to offer hands-on experience for beginners and pros alike in a supportive environment.
Confirmation: Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you an email confirming your payment. We’ll send you a letter with your class schedule as soon as it is available.
Cancellation Policy: VermontOutdoorsWoman will accept cancellation and will refund the entire amount of your deposit, if the cancellation is received before September 1. Requests for a refund must be received in writing or via email; no phone cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations after September 1 will forfeit the entire program fee or can be allocated to our VOW Winter Camp event.
Class Information Classes will be held rain or shine. Dress for the outdoors! We recommend you bring hiking shoes/sneakers, rain gear and warm outwear for cool nights. Please read the class descriptions carefully for details on what clothing/gear and levels of physical activity and experience are expected.
Class schedule may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Some classes fill quickly, so sign up for alternates. If there is availability, you might be able to switch to your favorite class at camp.
Equipment is provided except as noted in the course descriptions. However,feel free to bring your own equipment. Your firearms MUST be stored unloaded and kept in a locked case or with trigger lock. Lodging The lakeside log cabins at Jackson’s Lodge combine a rustic and relaxing, friendly atmosphere with all modern necessities, each having a full kitchen. Bed choice is first come first serve withvarious sizes including bunk beds. Limited personal rooms with larger beds are available at additional charge. You may rent linens from the lodge or bring your own. Read more at jacksonslodgevt.net.
Camping is available and encouraged! Pitch your tent or small RV in the large flat grass field located close to the Main Lodge. An outdoor shower is available along with restrooms in the Main Lodge. This is a safe and supportive place to camp if you have never done so. On-site instructors are available to support you in setting up your gear.
Raffle The VOW Camp raffle is pretty amazing! Each raffle ticket purchased offers you a chance to win hundreds of dollars in prizes. The proceeds go to support VOW in providing future camp scholarships and continue to provide this educational camp program. The drawing is Sunday after lunch and you do need to be present to win.
Raffle tickets will also be sold at the event at $5 for one ticket, $2 for five tickets and $50 for fifteen tickets.
